Other local attractions include the Loup Loup Ski Bowl, Winthrop Rink (named one of the 10 best ice rinks in the West by Sunset Magazine and one of the only NHL-sized refrigerated rinks in the country – open for Pickleball and inline skating in the summer), Early Winters Outfitters which features horseback riding is just at the Timberline Meadows turnoff from Highway 20. And of course, the Methow Valley is home to the largest cross-country ski trail network in North America with great skiing – powder snow and abundant sunshine!
